Robert W. Beavers, CPSM, has over 40 years experience working on design and construction projects of various types for several different architect, engineering and construction firms.  Bob moved with his family in 1985 to Atlanta from Maryland where he spent almost 23 years with Bechtel Power Corporation.  He currently is a Senior Business Development Manager for Merrick & Company, a national architecture and engineering firm.  Merrick has multiple business units but Bob specializes in Federal Government opportunities, with emphasis on the Department of Defense.

Bob has been a member of the Atlanta SMPS Chapter since 1994 and has held multiple Board positions, including the Chapter Development Chair on this year’s Board.  He served as President Elect in 1997 and President in 1998.  He was named the “Marketer of the Year” in 2007 and currently serves on the Executive Advisory Panel.
