Lee D. Jarboe, CPSM, Immediate Past President SMPS Atlanta, has been in the A/E/C industry since 2002.  She is a graduate of the University of Houston in Houston, Texas and is currently the Director of Client Services for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Atlanta, GA.

Lee has been an active member of SMPS Atlanta since joining in 2002 and was named New Member of the Year in 2003.  Over the past four years, she has served SMPS Atlanta as the Director of Membership, Treasurer, President-Elect and President respectively.  As Immediate Past President, Lee is also the Chair of the Chapter’s Executive Advisory Panel.

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. was founded in 1864 as a family construction business. Over the next 50 years, the company completed projects at the World’s Fair in San Francisco, in Alaska and in the Panama Canal Zone. In the 1970s, McCarthy began its ascent to national prominence in healthcare construction management and the firm has consistently been ranked among the top healthcare builders by Modern Healthcare since the magazine began publishing its annual ranking.  Today, McCarthy is 100 percent employee owned and ranked the nation’s 10th largest domestic builder (Engineering News-Record, May 2008) with offices in Atlanta, St. Louis, Dallas, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Newport Beach, Calif., San Diego, San Francisco and Sacramento.
