Karen Chin
Treasurer

Karen Chin, Treasurer SMPS Atlanta, has been in the A/E/C industry since 1999.  She is a graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Art.  After working in the non-profit field at the High Museum of Art, SciTrek and the Chattahoochee Nature Center, Karen took time off to have two children. Realizing her interest in architecture, a friend gave her the opportunity to start a new career working in the marketing department at CDH Partners, an architectural firm in Marietta. Karen now uses her talents as the Business Development Director for Van Winkle & Company, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Karen has been a member of SMPS Atlanta since 2002.  She has been a member of the Communications Committee, specifically helping with the award winning Inspiration newsletter since 2004. In 2006, Karen was an active participant with the newly formed Mentoring Program.
