Chapter Development

Robert W. Beavers, Chapter Development, SMPS Atlanta, has been in the A/E/C industry for over forty years.  He has a degree in “Visual Communications / Radio and Television” earned in 1972.  Bob has been President of two major industrial process control engineering and construction firms and President of his own business development firm. He is presently a Senior Business Development Manager for Merrick & Company in their Atlanta office.

Bob has been an active member of SMPS since 1994, including serving on the Board for two years as Program Chairman and President-Elect and was the President of the Atlanta Chapter in 1998.  His present position takes him throughout the southeast representing Merrick & Company to military and government clients.
