About the Presenter:
Bob, a graduate of Penn State University, has more than 25 years experience in the construction industry. His current responsibilities include training for business development skills and working closely with Holder clients and partners to track the company’s performance and support the company’s continual improvement initiatives. He monitors industry trends to insure Holder’s services continue to be in the forefront of the industry.
Bob was a featured speaker on Construction and Business Development for two Continuing Education courses at Georgia Institute of Technology (Ga. Tech.), “Everything You Wanted to Know about the Design and Construction Industry” and “The Business of Successful Contracting.” In addition, Bob presented at and participated in a panel discussion for three Design/Build conferences throughout the United States sponsored jointly by the McGraw-Hill Construction Information Group and the Construction Specifications Institute.
Bob has been a guest lecturer for the School of Architecture and the Building Construction Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology and for the Engineering School at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.
Bob is a published author having contributed a chapter titled “Hiring a General Contractor” for the book “Commercial Relocation – A Comprehensive Guide for Industry Professionals and Service Buyers” compiled by Ed Katz and Kay Borden – Franklin – Sarrett Publishers, 1999.
Bob is currently serving on the Executive Advisory Panel for the Georgia Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) where he also served on the board as President. SMPS is a national professional service organization whose members represent the Architecture, Engineering and Construction professions.
Bob holds a Bachelors of Architectural Engineering in Construction Management.
