The continued success and growth of ATC’s business development programs has led to the search for a Proposal Manager to join our corporate team. We are seeking a motivated professional with a track record in the development of compelling client deliverables including proactive proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations and qualification packages.
The proposal manager will develop support materials and facilitate the production of local proposals. On a national level, the Proposal Manager will develop and write persuasive client-focused documents by working with technical experts, operations and business development personnel to understand the overall pursuit strategy, client needs and solution component. This position has accountability for the quality of the written deliverable. Key responsibilities of the Proposal Manager include:
- Design Proposal Component Deliverables (Local & National Level)
- Design compelling and concise client deliverables
- Develop the timeline; conceptualize a plan and envision the finished project
- Conceptualize and build project description, proposal and resume template formats and required graphics to ensure the highest level of quality possible.
- Assess the opportunity (National Level)
- Read and interpret complex RFP/RFI requirements.
- Lead the Go-No Go Team to determine if fit for ATC’s capability requirements, gaps in current service offers and how we can address gaps.
- Manage the deliverable : (National Level)
- Communicate deliverable strategy and plan to proposal team.
- Coordinate deliverable input from internal and external team to ensure a consistent voice.
- Follow up/review to ensure compliance with strategy and plan
- Review materials to ensure client deliverables are concise and compelling.
- Review materials to ensure compliance with all RFP/RFI instructions and program requirements.
- Engage in continuous improvement of opportunity management process to enhance team’s ability to deliver better deliverables.
- Write the deliverable (National Level)
- Write the compelling and concise client deliverables
- Apply knowledge of ATC’s value proposition, services, experience and capabilities to create winning client-facing documents.
- Develop custom proposal text and customize standard proposal text/templates for specific responses.
- Ensure consistency with ATC’s brand guidelines.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with position as may be appropriate
Qualifications/Skills:
- Superior verbal and written communications skills
- Five years of Proposal Management experience
- Experience writing RFP professional services proposals
- Project management experience within a writing context
- Supervisory or management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including expert knowledge of Microsoft Word
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to provide high quality products under short deadlines with little supervision
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously
Candidates who also have one or both of the following will be preferred:
- Knowledge of or experience with environmental, health and safety or construction consulting services
- Skills with Deltek VISION or RFP Machine software
